TIMES SINGAPORE, PACITAN – For you who wonder how it feels like to play a giant chess like those you saw on Harry Potter movie? Well, Alun-alun Pacitan will give you the answer. You could find a giant chess in this central park.

This central park of Pacitan, East Java is located in the middle of the city. It's surrounded by lush green trees. The green grass on the field next to it make the scenery look so awesome.

This game was built in 2019. The local government decided to add some chess for the city has had dozens of national professional athletes from this game. And the game was built to honor them.

"Lots of people coming to this place for this attraction. They came to play the game and some just coming to take some moment with it," Maryani, a local visitor said on Thursday (11/2/2021).

Maryani also said that she was so happy as well proud that the local government has added some more attraction in this park. They even equipped this place free WiFi.

In addition, beside the chess board, there is a sport center in another corner of the park. Some basketball courts were also provided for those who willing to have some exercise.

For those who willing to have some snack or some drinks after walking around the Alun-Alun Pacitan, you could visit the food vendors right on the side of the park.

Alun-alun Pacitan, East Java will be such a perfect alternative place to visit during your weekend if you have no place to go. You could take your family or friend to walk along with you at this central park.
