TIMES SINGAPORE, JAKARTA – Indonesia just lost one of its best teacher today. It is the Buya Syafii Maarif. Menag RI or the Minister of Religious Affair Indonesia Yaqut Cholil Qoumas who happened to be know Buya Syafii's career stated his condolence.

"Another great figure has gone, Buya Syafii Maarif. This country has lost one of its greatest teacher," Menag RI Yaqut Cholil Qoumas said on Friday (27/5/2022).

As far as Yaqut knows, Buya Syafii was one of intellect  and a respectable religious leader. Buya has inspired many including Menag RI to be more consistent and determined to fight over justice, keeping the peaceful and harmony in the country.

"Loosing such a respectable teacher will be very devastated for the country and he could never be replaced, a leak that never be able to cover, just like a shutting off a star (on a dark night), " Yaqut quoted.

"Farewell Buya. We will keep your thought and wisdom to build the country," Menag RI Yaqut Choli Qoumas ended. (*)
