TIMES SINGAPORE, BANYUWANGI – The Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (IHRA Banyuwangi) commits to bring back the tourism industry to the city. They are ready to welcome any community to join with them.

IHRA has felt a huge impact to the local tourism industry since the pandemic struck the country. They put a big hope towards the new government under Ipuk Fiestiandani Azwar Anas – H Sugirah, S.Pd, M.Si leadership.

"We hope the new government could bring tourism industry in the city to a better place through collaboration and good communication," the Head of IHRA Banyuwangi, Zaenal Muttaqin SE, said on Saturday (27/2/2021).

Ipuk as the wife of the former Mayor of Banyuwangi Azwar Anas was hope to be able to do at least the same or even better than what her husband did to the city before.

It was known that during his leadership Azwar Anas has lead the city to have better tourism industry. He turned the local areas into one prominent tourist destinations even in the world's eyes.

Lots of investors has put their trust and invest on the tourism industry. Hospitality business grows in line with the growing demand of accommodation for the tourist.

Lots of high class Hotel and restaurants built in the city. Some cafe and bar were also built to pamper the tourist. It makes Banyuwangi no longer become a dead place with thousands of hidden paradise.

"We hope that Bu Ipuk (the way the call the new Mayor could bring us a hope to make tourism industry back on its feet," the Head of IHRA Banyuwangi ended.(*)
