TIMES SINGAPORE, TAPANULI – The TMMD (TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa) already done on its 29th day, with all the works already done well by the Kodim 0212/TS Task Force.

With the short remaining days, The TMMD Task Force take advantage of the time by doing non physical work, which is caring for environment and forestry.

The TMMD Task Force from Kodim 0212/TS learn to graft the apple wax tree with Mrs Maya from Siuhom Village, West Angkola,  South Tapanuli.

Serda Tajun Siregar on Tuesday (13/7/2021) said "The grafting is method to multiply the wax apple plant vegetatively. It can be done only on dicothyl plant."

Therefore, the wax apple is one of the plant that could be grafted, because its stem has the cambium that supportive as the place for the roots grow. (*)
