TIMES SINGAPORE, BANDUNG – In Indonesia, most people enjoy food that contains chicken. The already tender and moist chicken meat tastes even better and is more well-liked when processed chicken is combined with a variety of other fundamental ingredients and cooked by frying, steaming, or skewering, those includes roasted chicken.
Not everyone who enjoys chicken can, however, regularly eat processed chicken. Eating chicken can make certain health conditions worse for people who already have them.
Those who choose carefully how much chicken they consume will select the best way or seek for better alternatives to enjoy chicken-based foods, such as organic chicken, free of any spice combinations that might cause serious health issues.
Mamiki Foods Chicken is one of such alternatives; it produces chicken-based food using flavorful yet nutritious chicken preparations. Mamiki Foods Chiken's blend of herbal seasonings and precise preparations make customers adore their "roasted" chicken, which is made only from carefully selected organic chicken.
“Mamiki Foods Chicken products are made from organic, free-range chickens. We used to prepare them using broiler chickens, however, our herbal seasonings did not mix well. It did not match our expectations,” said Helmi Zakiah, who is familiarly called Helza, Wednesday (12/4/2023).
"There have been many trials and finally with the right seasoning grading, as well as organic chicken, the results can be like now," Helza said.
Helza said that from 2018 to 2019 before the Covid-19 pandemic, her restaurant and catering business was fairly busy. However, during the pandemic, buyers stopped and instead purchased the products online. The products were available in various online platforms and marketplaces, such as Instagram, WhatsApp, and from word of mouth.
There was a lot of new customers who came and asked about the chicken products after the popular buzz came around from the previous buyers who had bought Mamiki chicken products. Nowadays, Helza also uses TikTok to support her sales.
She also mentions that the chicken's delicious taste and herbal fragrance as well as complete legalities such as halal, quality and nutrition testing, and intellectual property can be a strong attraction for potential buyers to buy her products, either online or offline.
She wants her consumers to know that Mamiki Foods' chicken, which is processed with authentic herbal spices can be a healthy and halal food choice for their families.
And as a result of this delicious and healthy roasted chicken, Helza is appreciative of having been chosen from 125 applicants as one of the 19 chosen individuals to receive business incubation at a reputable Bandung institution.
She wants to bring goodness to the community through Mamiki Foods' nutritious roasted chicken product.
