TIMES SINGAPORE, MALANG – Several staffs of UIN Malang kouning the Covid-19 immunization at UMMI Clinic. There are around 60 staff including the Recŕoe of the university himself Prof Dr H Abdul Haris M.Ag.

The immunization which was held at Jalan Gajayana, Malang were conducted successfully. The Rector said that he he had no symptoms after being shot with the vaccine.

He even make a joke that the most frightening thing is not the vaccine, but the needle. "Almost all of us were feared of the needle, it's been a long time for me not to deal with one," the Rector said.

The Rector appeals everyone to not to be afraid of vaccine. He underlined that Covid-19 vaccine is a way to tackle the virus from attacking human body. Especially after a long haul of pandemic.

The Rector and the rest of the staff got their first shot on Friday (26/2/2021). "To me, everyone should get the vaccine. Not only UIN Malang's staff but everyone in this country should join the program," the Rector added.

During the immunization, the Rector and all the staffs were taken care by 4 vaccinators. They wait for their time to be called for the vaccine.

They will have the second shot 14 days ahead after the first immunization. "It will be held around 15 March," The doctor in charge of immunization at UMMI Clinic of UIN Malang, dr Umik Lisa Desiyanti said.(*)
