JAKARTAHajj season 2022 has almost reach the end. Kemenag Ri along with its staff in Mecca and Medina planned to sent all the pilgrims back to Indonesia by August 13. Unfortunately, up until now, there were still some pilgrims need to be treated at the local hospital for some health issue.

There were around 14 pilgrims listed being treated at the local hospital. At least 12 of them were treated at KKHI clinic in Medina and two of them were treated at a local hospital in the same city.

The patients will be monitored closely and if they show positive sign and able to go home then they will be taken back home along with the other pilgrims for the latest group. Or else, they will be assigned to stay in the hospital till they get better.

All their document will be given to the Ministry of Religious Affair and proceed to general Consulate of Indonesia in Jeddah. "We will keep monitor them. But we have to go back to Jakarta first due to the Visa registration issue," the Chief of KKHI dr Budi Sylvana said from Medina on Tuesday (9/8/2022).

The health team will monitor them closely via phone or face time. They might even go back to Arab if there's an urgent call or something. "Some of them should wear a ventilator. We couldn't bring them home for it's too risky. But we hope they could all go home by the time," Sylvana said about the pilgrims.
