TIMES SINGAPORE, MALANGHawai Group Malang was put on the 20 top list of local destination in East Java that was allowed to be reopened after a long haul of social restriction. This place has been reopened since Saturday (11/9/2021). However, there are several new rules applied by the management, including limiting the age of the visitors.

Hawai Group decided to ban some of their visitors especially those who were under 12 year old. This was because those kids under 12 hasn't been vaccinated with Covid-19 vaccine and became an easy target to get severely exposed by the virus.

It was also one of their way to follow the rule given by the government. The government has ordered some tourist destinations to scan every visitors' name and check whether they have been vaccinated or not with some app they have.

During this week, Hawai Group Malang has likely sent 90% of their visitors home for they didn't acquire the requirements. Most of the visitors coming to their place were group of family along with their child, which mostly under 12.

"We couldn't allow those who haven't been vaccinated to get in to our place. And sadly we have to tell them to go back if they insist to bring their kids which literally under 12 year old," Corporate Communication Hawai Group Malang, Andi Prasetya said on Monday (13/9/2021).

During this reopening, Hawai Group Malang only opens two of their destinations, Malang Night Paradise and Museum Ganesha. Meanwhile the other two like Hawai Waterpark and Malang Smart Arena will be reopened soon regarding to the following situation.

Malang Night Paradise and Museum Ganesha could be visited starting from 16.00 to 21.00 local western times. These two attractions could accomodate around 1000 visitors in a day. But, it seems that they have to be satisfied with only 200 visitors in a day for the first three day of reopening.

"It's because we ban those 12 year old visitors. But we must to follow the rule. We welcome them on the parking lot and asked them whether they have been vaccinated or not, whether they have the app, or whether they came with kids or not," Andi added.

Hawai Group Malang charge the visitors with such an affordable cost for two of their attractions. During this probation, they only charge their customers for IDR 45 K for the ticket.
